As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Sacramento, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a fast-paced technology location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report security-related concerns according to site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and communicate with site contacts regarding security-related events, visitor activity, and/or delivery arrivals.
• Support Allied Universal and site leadership by documenting daily activities, completing incident reports, and following post orders for assigned patrol areas and working conditions.
