About The Position

As a Security Officer Screening Associate in Stockton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry activity, conduct screening procedures, and support security-related operations with professionalism and strong communication. You will remain visible, help to deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or personal belongings entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and client-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site leadership.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, prohibited items, and/or policy violations through attentive screening practices.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around designated areas and the perimeter, noting conditions that may require follow-up or additional response.
