As a Security Officer Full Time Access Credential Patrol in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will use communication and technology tools to support badge access activities and respond professionally to concerns. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badges is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking facilities, building perimeter, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and document security-related incidents, observations, and patrol activities.
• Support a professional workplace environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following Allied Universal and client-specific protocols.
