About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for overnight driver patrol at an assigned healthcare facility in Memphis, Tennessee. The position provides a fixed weekly schedule of 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, and Sunday, with a six-month commitment to the assigned site and shifts. Officers may claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, with the opportunity to increase hours up to 40 per week.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license, as required by Allied Universal driver policy and for driving positions.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a background investigation, subject to applicable laws.
• Successful completion of a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency-response activities.
• Respond professionally and calmly to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and other critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor and staff activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy concerns to site leadership or Allied Universal supervision.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a healthcare environment.
