About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Leesburg, Florida, you will support a dynamic educational location. You will conduct routine armed patrols, operate a vehicle as needed, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide customer service and communication to students, staff, and visitors. The role calls for integrity, teamwork, and a caring approach.

This is a full-time position paying $20.00 per hour. The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• An armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and guests while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established campus protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate professionally with campus representatives, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
