As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Emergency Readiness in Collegeville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Have at least two years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a chemical/petrochemical location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, restricted-area concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, process-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access control points, verify credentials as required, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report access-related concerns to site leadership.
Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to the appropriate personnel.
