As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Emergency Readiness in Collegeville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control activities, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Have at least two years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a chemical/petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, restricted-area concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, process-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access control points, verify credentials as required, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report access-related concerns to site leadership.
  • Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to the appropriate personnel.
