About The Position

The Security Officer is responsible for the security of hospital employees, patients/families, visitors, and property. As a Security Officer you will: Be responsible for fire prevention and initial response measures. Maintains safety practices in the area of his/her assignment. Have oversight of the SOC (Security Operations Center) Handle Duties associated with the Operation of Metal Detector and Wanding Other Duties as directed by the supervisor.

Requirements

• HS graduate or equivalent required
• 1-year previous security experience required
• Valid driver's license required.
• Clean Driving Record Required

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of hospital-based experience highly preferred.
• Fingerprints and Child Abuse Clearance once hired.
