About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Admission Control in Longboat Key, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help maintain a welcoming, controlled environment by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access, and assisting residents, visitors, and vendors with professionalism. You will remain visible, communicate clearly, document security-related activity, and help address concerns while delivering the reliable, caring service and integrity Allied Universal is known for.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals, vehicles, deliveries, and service personnel entering the residential community.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and vehicle entry records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community entrances, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
