As a Security Officer Full Time TWIC Credentialing in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and contractors. You will use computer-based systems, communicate professionally, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. Requirements

  • Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor and contractor access documentation, and maintain accurate access-related records.
  • Screen vehicles, deliveries, and personnel in accordance with site procedures, coordinating with authorized site representatives when access questions arise.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established notification and emergency procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, surrounding areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
