As a Security Officer Full Time TWIC Credentialing in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and contractors. You will use computer-based systems, communicate professionally, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. Requirements

Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor and contractor access documentation, and maintain accurate access-related records.
Screen vehicles, deliveries, and personnel in accordance with site procedures, coordinating with authorized site representatives when access questions arise.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established notification and emergency procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, surrounding areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
