About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Patrol Driver in Raleigh, North Carolina. The role provides a consistent assigned-site shift, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform. The designated site and weekly anchor shift require a six-month commitment; additional shifts can provide opportunities to increase hours, potentially up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back. The position pays $20.00 per hour and has a listed Thursday schedule of 6:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require being at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points, assist with visitor management, direct individuals to appropriate locations, and report unusual activity or access concerns.
• Accurately document incidents, observations, and patrol activity, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
