Requirements

Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the property, including building common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter, to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, tenant, and vendor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Complete accurate reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
