As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Property Checks in South San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will monitor and patrol a residential marina community, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, observe and report unusual activity, support residents and visitors with exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with the team. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, marina visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential grounds, marina walkways, docks, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, vehicle, and vessel activity in accordance with site procedures; report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency procedures and contacting emergency services when directed.
- Prepare accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant security-related information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
