Requirements

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor activity, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols, helping to support controlled entry and compliance with location requirements.
• Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and shift activity logs, and communicate clearly during post turnover regarding security-related concerns and/or operational updates.
