Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and manage access to the location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, issuing temporary access credentials, and reporting access irregularities in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-control alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns, unauthorized access, or facility issues.
• Maintain accurate activity, incident, and access-control documentation, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site personnel.
