Security Officer - Clearance Required

About The Position

As a Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location in Fort Worth, Texas, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and site operations. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while providing attentive customer service. The role includes carrying out site-specific security procedures and policies, responding to emergencies, and helping protect sensitive assets, information, and operations. This is a part-time position scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, at $21.75 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton.
Customer service experience.
CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following reporting and escalation protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, access points, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations; identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and documentation.
Report policy violations, suspicious activity, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel to support the protection of sensitive assets, information, and operations.
