About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for a visitor credential desk at a logistics and distribution location in Fort Worth, Texas. The role supports site access control by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit activity, maintaining logs, and providing a welcoming, customer-focused presence for employees, visitors, drivers, contractors, and deliveries. Officers also conduct patrols and respond to incidents according to established site procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements; a license may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel while following site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
• Verify identification, credentials, and authorized access for personnel, contractors, visitors, and delivery vehicles entering or leaving the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, maintain accurate visitor and vehicle logs, and communicate access-related concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, follow established site procedures, and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, trailer yards, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
