About The Position

As an unarmed Security Officer Perimeter Patrol supporting a transportation location in Kahului, Hawaii, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide customer service to visitors, passengers, employees, and staff, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to situations as they arise. The position is full-time and pays $22.66 per hour. The stated schedule is Thursday through Sunday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to transportation clients, passengers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of transportation facilities, parking areas, vehicle staging areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain awareness of pedestrian and vehicle traffic patterns.
Prepare accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
