Requirements
- 18 years of age and older
- High School diploma or GED
- Active CA BSIS (Bureau of Security and Investigative Services) Guard Card (training offered if not current)
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional presentation and appearance reflecting customer service skills
- Authorized to work in the US
- Pass background check and random drug testing
- Schedule adherence and punctuality
- Ability to retain knowledge, information, and directions on an ongoing basis and communicate effectively with others.
- Ability to react appropriately in emergency situations and skills in operating portable radio devices.
Nice To Haves
- Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience
Responsibilities
- Monitoring ballroom and meeting room entrances, loading docks, and roving certain locations.
- Watching over life and property.
- Performing general crowd control and access control duties.
- Compliance with specific post instructions.
- Badge checking.
- Roving.
- Monitoring access of doors and equipment.
- Performing other duties as required or assigned by management.
