As a Security Officer in Minneapolis, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the lobby, public areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
Monitor entry and exit points, observe visitor and employee activity, and report suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
Support opening and closing routines, assist with access control practices, and help maintain an orderly environment for staff, customers, and authorized visitors.
