As a Security Officer in Minneapolis, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the lobby, public areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, observe visitor and employee activity, and report suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support opening and closing routines, assist with access control practices, and help maintain an orderly environment for staff, customers, and authorized visitors.
