As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A concealed carry weapons permit is required.
  • Possess at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and donors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and notifying the appropriate contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and help to control access to restricted areas in accordance with site policies and post orders.
  • Support security-related operations during medical, fire, and/or facility-related emergencies by following established response procedures and coordinating with site leadership and first responders.
