Requirements

Valid Driver's License
21+ years of age
Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, restricted access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
Monitor entry and exit activity, observe surroundings, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Support access control and screening-related processes at a government location by verifying authorized access, documenting incidents, and communicating clearly with site contacts and/or public agency representatives.
