Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a leading financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document security-related events according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify conditions that may require follow-up.
  • Monitor entrances, lobbies, and other assigned areas to help to control access, verify credentials, and/or direct visitors, staff, and vendors in line with location procedures.
  • Support day-to-day operations by communicating with site contacts, reporting maintenance or life-related concerns, and assisting with security-related requests as appropriate.
