About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer for a healthcare location in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. The officer monitors and patrols assigned areas, maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provides customer service and communication to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors. The role supports a welcoming environment while responding professionally to security-related needs. The position pays $17.00 per hour. The stated schedule is 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM on Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; the posting specifies 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by following site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and applicable emergency-response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical-related emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations, following established notification and reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and help direct guests to appropriate areas.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and patrol activity, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
