As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol in Bronx, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will contribute to a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

  • Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
  • Monitor access points, verify authorization as required, and report unusual conditions, hazards, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
  • Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with site policies and Allied Universal procedures.
