About The Position

We are seeking a professional Security Officer to join our team for on-call weekend shifts and as needed. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a high level of performance. Experience with public safety and security is essential, and the candidate must operate with a high degree of integrity at all times while working the sites.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Security Officer or in a similar position is preferred
Valid registration as a security officer
Bilingual Spanish / English
Grooming must be at a well-taken-care-of standard
No visible tattoos
Strong understanding of public safety and security procedures is a must
Must have stature / presence
Excellent written communication skills and report writing ability
Ability to operate surveillance equipment
High level of integrity and professionalism
Attention to detail and strong observational skills
Ability to work without direct supervision

Responsibilities

Patrol the premises and maintain a high level of visibility
Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel access the facility
Check bags for unwanted items prohibited from entering venues
Observe tables and guests for over-intoxication and identify any threats
Use de-escalation methods
Enforce policy and rules set by venue
Remove trespassers when necessary
Monitor exterior by physically being a deterrent
Locate unwanted items on the floor and report to lead and management for immediate removal
Respond to reports of suspicious activity
Report on hourly activity and any security incidents
