About The Position

Securitas Security is looking to hire three full time security guards to work at a location in Sidney, NY. Candidates will need to go to the Johnson City, NY office for orientation and/or NYS licensing training. Candidates should also have their own reliable means of transportation as public transport does not operate during the days/hours guard will need to be on site. If you were once a licensed security guard who is now expired please have your guard card reactivated prior to applying as there is a significant delay with those who were once licensed and are not currently active. Please only apply if you have flexible availability to include evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays. You will have a perm schedule but may be asked to fill in on days/shifts that are not part of your perm schedule. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers. Requirements
