About The Position

Securitas Security is looking to hire one full time security officer to work at a location in Elmira, NY. Candidate will need their own reliable means of transportation as public transport does not operate during the days/hours work will be scheduled. This position will also require a valid NYS Drivers License and the ability for the candidate to meet the Securitas Safe drive program. Those who apply should be available to work Thursday through Sunday 1500-2300. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.
