Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a healthcare location.
Serve as a professional front desk presence, greet and direct visitors, manage visitor access in accordance with established procedures, and provide information or assistance as appropriate.
Monitor entry activity and report unusual activity, unauthorized access attempts, and other security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, courteous, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
Maintain accurate visitor logs, complete required reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
