About The Position

Allied Universal is currently hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a Pharma Company in Cambridge MA. This role involves serving and safeguarding clients in various industries, including healthcare. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to security-related needs. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a healthcare-related location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business operations, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions, and support a professional, controlled environment for personnel and guests.
Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
