About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at an educational campus in Cleveland, Ohio, you will help safeguard the site and support a welcoming campus environment. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, conduct routine rounds, communicate professionally with students, staff, and visitors, and provide customer service. The position is scheduled Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and pays $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and contractors while following site-specific procedures and security policies.
Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events calmly and professionally, following campus protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, parking facilities, walkways, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and report access-control concerns, facility issues, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Prepare accurate reports and communicate with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts about incidents, patrol observations, and shift activities.
