About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer to support a logistics and distribution location in Rancho Cordova, California. The officer will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, monitor assigned areas, and communicate with employees and visitors. The role supports a welcoming and secure environment through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a people-first approach. The schedule is Wednesday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Saturday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The pay rate is $21.00 per hour. Employees can use Allied Universal’s Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following site-specific reporting protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution location, including the building exterior, perimeter, parking areas, loading docks, and access points.
Monitor access to the location and report unauthorized activity, damaged property, or unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
Support a professional environment for employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while helping deter security-related concerns.
