About The Position

As an Unarmed Security Officer conducting foot patrols at a food and beverage production location in Cambridge, Massachusetts, you will help safeguard clients, employees, and visitors. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support a welcoming environment, provide customer service, and respond to concerns with integrity. The role involves working in a fast-paced food and beverage environment and following site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production and warehouse areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and reporting suspicious activity or policy concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, medical situations, and other critical events calmly, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications while maintaining a professional presence.
