About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for an assigned technology-focused site in Las Vegas, Nevada. The position provides a designated weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform. Hours may vary from week to week as additional shifts are picked up, with the opportunity to build toward a schedule of up to 40 hours per week and the option to scale back. The listed shift is Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.75 per hour.

The officer provides customer service and security support to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel. Duties include unarmed patrols, access-point monitoring, responding to incidents and alarms, and preparing reports. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements depend on applicable state or local laws.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following security procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking facilities, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter, identifying and reporting unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
