About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer for a pharmaceutical company in Lexington, Massachusetts. In this driving role, the officer will safeguard employees, visitors, patients, and vendors at a healthcare location by providing customer service, maintaining a visible security presence, and following site-specific policies and procedures. The position is scheduled Friday through Sunday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM and pays $22.00 per hour. Paid orientation and paid training are provided.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy; required for this driving position.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Customer service experience.
CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations, following established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations; identify and report unusual conditions or security concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
Communicate clearly with site personnel and contact appropriate responders for medical, fire, or other emergency events.
