Security Officer Full Time - Corporate Building Spanish Language Patrol
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed patrol Security Officer for a prominent financial institution in New York, NY. The officer will help safeguard employees, tenants, visitors, and the property by maintaining a visible presence, patrolling assigned areas, monitoring access points, and responding professionally to security concerns. The role requires fluent Spanish communication and a welcoming, customer-focused approach. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Applicants must have at least two years of security-related experience, a valid New York State Security Guard License, fluent Spanish skills, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Requirements
- At least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Valid New York State Security Guard License.
- Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may apply prior to employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees while following security procedures and site-specific policies and carrying out emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building perimeters, entrances, lobbies, parking areas, and common spaces, and identify and report security concerns.
- Monitor access points and activity throughout the property, reporting suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
- Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications according to Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
