Requirements

  • Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be able to restrain individuals.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, hazards, or maintenance concerns in accordance with site procedures.
  • Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation.
