As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver in Freeport, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A TSA issued TWIC is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access support, and security-related response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor radio, phone, alarm, and camera systems to receive calls for service, document activity, and dispatch appropriate personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations by gathering details, relaying information to site contacts and/or emergency resources, and helping to coordinate next steps.
  • Maintain detailed logs, incident reports, and dispatch records, including tracking personnel status, visitor activity, deliveries, and other site-related communications.
  • Support regular and random patrol activity by communicating assignments, monitoring officer check-ins, and helping to deter unauthorized access around the business and perimeter.
