Requirements

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, tenants, visitors, and financial institution clients while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned business areas, entrances, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verifying credentials and directing guests as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
