Weekend Security Officer - Perry, NY
About The Position
Securitas Security is looking to hire a part time security guard to work at a location in Perry, NY. Candidates should live in or near Perry, NY as public transport does not operate in the area during the days/times needed for work. This position is Saturday and Sunday from 0800-1600. Candidates will be required to travel to the Rochester NY office for the NYS licensing classes if needed and for Securitas orientation. Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers. Requirements
- Must live in or near Perry, NY
- Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday from 0800-1600
- Must be willing to travel to the Rochester NY office for NYS licensing classes if needed and for Securitas orientation
- No experience necessary
- If you have retail, food service or hospitality industry background you are a great fit for this role; if not, we will provide you with the training and everything you need for a great introduction to a career in the security industry.
