Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the technology, media, and telecommunications location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter.
Monitor access points and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents in accordance with site procedures.
Complete required patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
