As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Hazard Identification in Fredericksburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

A Guard Card or license is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, access control procedures, and communication with appropriate personnel.
Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
