As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide welcoming customer service to tenants and visitors. You will document observations and communicate clearly while contributing to Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture through teamwork.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial real estate buildings, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or property concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and maintenance-related reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
