Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a fast-paced technology location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Possess X-Ray screening experience, preferred.
  • Possess customer service experience, preferred.
  • Possess CPR certification, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry points, lobbies, and/or restricted areas, assist with visitor management processes, and support compliance with location rules and security-related policies.
  • Communicate clearly with colleagues, site personnel, and/or first responders during routine operations and unusual events, while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced location.
