As a Security Officer Driver Screening in Hutchins, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access, screen visitors and/or vehicles, and support daily operations with professionalism and strong communication. Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by following site-specific procedures, screening protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Screen persons, packages, bags, and/or vehicles entering or exiting the location in accordance with post orders and security-related procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor access points and shipping and receiving areas to help support authorized entry, document activity, and report concerns involving loss prevention or other security-related matters.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, with duties and working conditions that may vary by site.
