About The Position

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access, identify suspicious activity, and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify badges, credentials, and/or visitor access requirements, and follow established protocols for restricted or controlled areas.
• Support security-related operations at an aero and defense location by observing sensitive work areas, reporting hazards or policy concerns, and assisting with site procedures related to deliveries, escorts, and after-hours activity.
