About The Position

As a Security Officer - Bank Headquarters Full Time in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, assisting with entry procedures and directing visitors as needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
