Requirements

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and restricted areas in accordance with established financial institution policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly documenting observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, including business areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter, while reporting security-related concerns.
• Support a professional environment by maintaining awareness of unusual activity and communicating relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
