About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer for a food and beverage production location in Clinton, North Carolina. The officer will help safeguard the site, provide customer service to employees and visitors, maintain a visible security presence, conduct patrols, monitor access, respond to incidents, and document security-related activity using a computer or tablet. The stated pay rate is $14.18 per hour. The posted schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only; the posting does not specify that this role is a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and security-related activity, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
