Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a hospitality setting.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including lobbies, hallways, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and common areas, verify authorized entry when required, and support crowd flow during peak check-in, check-out, and event periods.
  • Assist with security-related requests such as wayfinding, lost and found inquiries, and initial response to disturbances, while maintaining a professional presence and clear communication with guests and staff.
