Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Have supervisory experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Guard card is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas, document observations and/or incidents, and report security-related concerns according to Allied Universal and site guidelines.
• Support emergency response activities and assist with directing people during evacuations, medical incidents, and/or facility disruptions as needed.
